Welcome to Liink.li. By creating an account and using our services, you accept these terms of service. Please read them carefully before using the service.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By registering on Liink.li, you agree to be bound by these terms of service and our privacy policy. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the service.

These terms apply to all users of Liink.li, both free and Pro subscribers.

2. ABOUT THE SERVICE

Liink.li is a link-in-bio service that allows you to collect and share links in a simple and elegant way. The service is operated by:

3. ACCOUNT CREATION AND USE

3.1 Registration

To use Liink.li, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid email address
• A secure password
• A unique username

You must verify your email address to activate your account.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your account information confidential and secure. This includes:

• Choosing a strong and unique password
• Not sharing your login information with others
• Immediately notifying us if you discover unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Liink.li. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3.4 Cookies and Sessions

We use the following for login and functionality:

• PHP sessions: Necessary to keep you logged in while using the service
• "Remember me" cookie: If you choose to be remembered at login, we store a cookie that keeps you logged in

These are necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled.

4. USER CONTENT

4.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you publish on Liink.li, including:

• Profile text (name, bio, tagline)
• Images (profile picture, background image, logo)
• Links and descriptions

4.2 License to Us

By uploading content to Liink.li, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display your content on the platform
• Store the content to deliver the service
• Make technical copies (backups, caching)

This license terminates when you delete the content or your account.

4.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you publish. We do not review all content before publication but reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

5. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND CONDUCT

5.1 You May Not Use Liink.li To:

• Publish illegal content or links to illegal content
• Offensive, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory content
• Spam, phishing, or fraudulent activity
• Distribute malware or viruses
• Violate others' intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks)
• Impersonate other persons or organizations
• Publish sexually explicit content or child pornography
• Automated scraping or data collection without permission
• Attempt to hack, compromise, or overload our systems

5.2 Consequences

Violation of these rules may result in:

• Warning
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent ban without refund
• Reporting to relevant authorities for serious violations

6. PRO SUBSCRIPTION

6.1 Pricing

Liink.li offers the following subscriptions:

• Free Account: Limited features
• Pro Account: 25 NOK per month with extended features

6.2 Free Trial Period

14-DAY FREE TRIAL
New Pro users get a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period expires. You can cancel at any time during the trial period at no cost.

6.3 Payment

Payments are processed via Stripe. By upgrading to Pro, you accept:

• Monthly automatic renewals
• Payment is charged on the same date each month
• All prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT

6.4 Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time:

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You retain Pro features until the period expires
• We do not offer refunds for unused portions of the billing period
• You can downgrade to a free account or delete your account entirely

6.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change prices. For price increases, we will:

• Notify you at least 30 days in advance via email
• Give you the opportunity to cancel before the price change takes effect
• New prices apply from the next renewal period

6.6 Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for Pro subscriptions, with the following exceptions:

• If you cancel during the free trial period (no cost)
• If we permanently terminate the service (proportional refund)
• For technical errors that have significantly prevented use of the service

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

7.1 Our Platform

The Liink.li platform, including design, code, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Oclin Home AS and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

7.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Liink.li for personal or commercial use in accordance with these terms.

7.3 Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our code or design
• Remove or alter trademarks or copyright notices
• Use our name or logo without written permission
• Create services that compete with Liink.li based on our platform

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1 Service Provided "As Is"

Liink.li is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be:

• Uninterrupted or error-free
• Free from viruses or malicious code
• Available at all times
• Compatible with all software or hardware

8.2 Scheduled Maintenance

We reserve the right to perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability. We will attempt to provide notice of scheduled maintenance.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Oclin Home AS is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or special damages
• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Damages caused by third-party actions
• Technical problems or service downtime

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months.

8.4 External Content

We are not responsible for content on websites you link to from your Liink.li profile. You are responsible for ensuring that your links do not violate laws or others' rights.

9. TERMINATION

9.1 Your Right to Terminate

You can delete your account at any time by:

• Going to account settings
• Selecting "Delete Account"
• Confirming deletion

All your data and content will be deleted immediately and permanently.

9.2 Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these terms of service
• We have reason to believe the account is being used for illegal activity
• You fail to pay for a Pro subscription
• The account has been inactive for over 2 years (after notice)

For serious violations, termination may occur immediately without prior notice.

9.3 Service Termination

If we decide to permanently terminate Liink.li, we will:

• Notify you at least 90 days in advance
• Give you the opportunity to export your data
• Refund unused portion of Pro subscription

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms of service from time to time. For significant changes, we will:

• Notify you via email at least 30 days before changes take effect
• Update the date at the top of this page
• Give you the opportunity to cancel your subscription if you do not accept the changes

Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms of service are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be attempted to be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, disputes shall be resolved in ordinary courts with Volda District Court as the venue.

12. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

12.1 Entire Agreement

These terms, together with our privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Oclin Home AS.

12.2 Severability

If any part of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

12.3 No Waiver

If we do not enforce any part of these terms, it does not mean we waive the right to enforce them later.
